We must seek God in humility,
Never insisting or makeing demands.
Because before we even ask Him,
God already has a plan.
And we have no right to bargin with God
To say "If you do this, then I'll do that."
Because God clearly owes us nothing,
And has no reasoon to play tit-for-tat.
God is our only sovereign King.
Something we say we comprehend.
Yet, often, we don't glorify Him as Lord,
But relate to Him as our earthly friend.
Through Christ we have the privilege
Of speaking to God directly.
But we must not let our privilege
Lead us to view Him...
