Grief or Relief
A grieving soul,
Buried in death,
Who's to blame,
For the sorrows of many?
A deepened hurt,
Wounded as deep,
Who has control,
Over a lost soul?
A fate-faulted man,
Is desperate for redemption,
Won't He listen,
To the music of the broken?
A warring angel,
Against his demon,
Who's really righteous,
When the Divine looks away?
A devil and a demon,
A fallen angel and an angel,
Who's really at loss,
But the man against his volition?
A grieving soul,
Buried in dirt,
Who's to blame,
For the anguish of the earth?
Everything happens for a reason,
Hurting or and healing,
Happiness and heaviness,
What's the response to the grief we suffer or inflict?
A battered heart,
Struggling to heal,
Whose embrace,
Shall grant solace to the pained?
