A Glimpse of Hope
I see a glimmer, a glimpse of light shinning in
But I also see
I also feel the real pain
The physical burden to carry
I see thoughts slipping into my brain
As lost as one can be
I see hope for a future
The brightest it will ever be
I see the light
Not of death
As I once wanted as an end
But of life
As in living for the one who died for me
I see a life worth living
But a life worth dying,
Dying to be home with Jesus
Dying to see His face,
His face as he says “you’ve run the race”
“And you’ve run it well”
You...

The physical burden to carry
I see thoughts slipping into my brain
As lost as one can be
I see hope for a future
The brightest it will ever be
I see the light
Not of death
As I once wanted as an end
But of life
As in living for the one who died for me
I see a life worth living
But a life worth dying,
Dying to be home with Jesus
Dying to see His face,
His face as he says “you’ve run the race”
“And you’ve run it well”
