Move to the Algorithms
The algorithm hates me,
It has a mind of its own.
Creating a hellscape for me,
That only exists on my phone.
Does it truly know my soul?
Show me what I want to see.
Perhaps I hate the algorithm,
Cuz it knows me better than me.

There’s an error in the encryption,
A binary in the code mine.
Zeros and ones full of spite,
A problem in the design.
The choreography is flawed,
Flashing of lights through a prism.
A dancing of digits,
Moving to their own algorithm.

The Algorithm loves me,
I feel the warmth in its glow.
They say it’s just some code,
Yet I truly know.
A connection to a god,
In the palm of our hands.
My “Likes” will get me to Heaven,
To Hell with my friends.

There’s an error in the cipher,
A canary in the crypto coin.
Hard drives full of malware,
Seeking souls to enjoin.
The choreography is misguided,
Troll farms in a Russian prison.
A dancing of digits,
Moving to their own algorithm.

Lead me somewhere else,
That resembles something like reality.
Connect me with others,
But keep it shallow like a fallacy.
The Algorithm doesn’t feel,
But it fuels my emotion.
I need that connection,
My phone is a magic potion.

The Algorithm ignores me,
How do I win its favor?
Sacrifice my humanity,
But first sign a waiver.
How did we get here?
Check the GPS on my phone.
Plug my sins into the algorithm,
So it can tell me how to atone.

There’s an error in the matrix,
A harbinger in the hypertext.
A problem that’s built in.
An omen of what comes next.
The choreography illogical,
An existential human schism.
A dancing of digits,
Moving to their own algorithm.
