Judge Me
Judge me like I'm a painting,
I shouldn't go on waiting,
For respect I'll never get,
These thoughts you'll regret.

I'm only human you know,
Give me time and I'll grow,
Probably tumble off the peak,
From all the hate you speak.

My head tells me not to care,
But my heart is standing bare,
Opened for you to poke in,
And focus on my every sin.

I'm a good girl I know,
But you'd never show,
The good that I possess,
You're the bad ripping my dress.

Let me be me for goodness sake,
What do I have that you want to take?
I feel as though I'm quite average,
but you still find something to salvage.

Are you hurt or lonely,
In that case I'll be your only,
After everything you've done,
To hold your hand I'll be the one.

I'll look past all the hate,
You're welcomed through my gate,
My world is yours to explore,
I'm more than you think if you get to know me more.

“ a/n : learn to stop judging ;
you'll live happier, I guarantee.”
