Saying goodbye is so easy sometimes
How many times have I said it and to how many people?
For some I will get to say it again each day
For some never again will we get to exchange goodbyes
For some in the distant future to come we will get the chance to say it again to each other
Saying goodbye is so hard sometimes
Yet it is said with the hope of getting another chance to say it again tomorrow
To some saying goodbye is a hard currency they can't even afford
I hope to say it when it's easy
I hope to say it when it's hard and
I hope to say it in my heart when I can't afford to say it out loud.
