Walking a path with glory in my heart
With friends along who will never grow apart
All smiling together and having good times
The day was shiny and there was joy in their eyes

Then the storm hits hard and the Sun goes down
Their lively faces starts to frown

Watching in shock as their faces fall on ground
And in no time there was noone around

The belief it ends here
Nobody ain't friends here
The naivety it fades here
Nobody ain't friends here

I was shivering for I was soaked in rain
And I was trembling while crying in pain

All this time I felt I must
when I was completely wrong to trust

I tried to get up, determined to never fall again
But I couldn't as I was tired and in too much pain

All of a sudden I saw a hand just before my eyes
And a voice came "Come on. Don't be surprised"

I was in shock but I couldn't get up by myself
So I managed to stand with the much needed help

The stranger was leaving I stopped him "Ah... wait"
"Where did you come from ? Was this fate?"

"You helped me when I was at my worst"
"I was lost, and the growing rage was about to burst"

I looked up at the sky "God, is that an angel you sent?"
The stranger laughed "No...I'm just your first true friend"
