But the anger is soothin by the gospel
And prayer so the system continues…just like
Back in slavery….

I heard a quote from a tv series
And it got canceled, a man
A black man said, “anger gets shit done”
He told the slaves in a ship
And the slaves got up and fought back….
White folks canceled this show,
Well it gives black people idea….

The idea of gettin even
To be violent if necessary
Cos if anger gets even stronger
And Jesus doesn’t work anymore
Guess what,
The game is over….
