I wish for the days when I switched on my phone & all I saw was those good morning messages some people are always sending
I wish for those days when the phone rang & I answered it with hands not trembling
I wish for those days when I could be there to hold those grieving
Those days when I didn't need to express my sympathy by texting
I wish for those days when I could see my loved ones for the last time
Those days when grief was still devouring but seeing them in a casket gave a closure no denying
Now, death is all I see when I awake
Families reduced in no time at all, my heart breaks
But when my day is done & it's time for me
I pick up my phone and see these beautiful writings I impatiently wait to read
From across the world, every corner
People whom touch EACH other's lives even though we probably will never meet another
I smile, I tear, Im filled with admiration
