Cogerea! we indeed hail,
with the sombre from our pale?
We strive at all cost even in despair,
but "corruption" has in her heart laid it's empire,
one led by her trusted umpires.
A land of honey, surrounded with plethora mineral resource,
a congenial "giant", turns a "fig tree"
We cannot all rot here, I support those who flee.

"Who will hear our story and not laugh?",
See all this glory, and not snough?
"Stories" that have been said umpteen times,
with yet an actual improvement,
billions are billed and borrowed, still! no development.
Wonders, of this country never cease to amaze me, here!
monkeys, leave their precious banana and steal money
pythons, transform from carnivores, to moneyvores.

Agriculture, "they" deject to drink crude oil,
and watch as the nation boils,
"drunk from excess of the country's wine".
Her children starve, some to ale,
some to death and some to rogues trail.
Our ravishing nation, with blemishing leaders,
sweet tree, bitter fruit and hybrid seeds;
some of which enhance and some, as pawn for evil deeds.

Since, the 'fathers' are committed criminals,
a percentage, of their 'kin' will evolve as 'the originals'
and there goes the point of escalation, Yes!
our intolerance against brutality persist,
among cops or mops, we definitely resist.
'We' say a big no! to this viral disease
no food, no light, bad government is now a rhyme,
hunger and corruption best companion of all time

'we' gather, with a drive for positive change,
in an act of peace, with no rampage.
As we unite to reflect our despair in harmony
the wild pigs decide "genocide" for an appeal
same way 'they' did back then, to infiltrate their will.
I think, youths should be, impenetrable and tenacious,
"oh! we have the 'tenacity', but the 'impenetrable' bought"
money feasts on "our" sense of being till it rots.

How exactly, do 'they' manage to hypnotize us?
strip us of good education and living to use 'us',
or just barge 'our' thinking fecundity?
with the same money made from obnoxious acts,
comes the involvement of the vulnerable in their pact.
Can 'we' not separate from this intelligent liars?
who siphon money, burn down evidential buildings,
reserve their wealth and position public funds for spending.

We once thought, aristocracy as a better government,
where the elites/nobles aim at mass development,
rather 'ignobles' aim at overfilling their belly.
Funny enough they infiltrate the thick forest inhabitation,
to gather living nodes for their election.
In our failure to annihilate, can't we 'rehabilitate' this,
petty old rascals?, who wish not to relinquish power,
but to make, forever rule and tyranny , their banner.

They block chances of new innovations,
and derive us our great ambitions and agitation.
To be candid whom is fit for 'rehabilitation'?,
the siphoning addicts, or the hypnotized illiterates ?
both parties are inimical, to the meek proleterates.
Hardly do we forsee good tidings anymore,
Oh! Cogerea, now we wail
may God, in His infinite mercy help us heal.
