Evil people exist,
They show themselves, in their actions and words every day,
Their shadow in the light persists,
Casting doubt along the way.

In whispers cold and deeds unkind,
Their darkness spreads, their intent entwined,
But goodness stands, a brighter flame,
To counter every act of shame.

For every shadow cast in spite,
A thousand stars ignite the night,
And though their presence we can’t deny,
Hope and love still reach the sky.

Evil may persist and sneer,
Yet goodness holds, steadfast and clear,
For in the heart where kindness grows,
A stronger, brighter future shows.

Therefore, for every shadow cast by night,
There’s morning’s glow, there’s hope’s bright light,
Evil may walk among us, that's true,
But so does love, within me, and you!!
