Lost happiness

Lush, green meadows,
Brimming with fragrant flowers,
Borderlands to joy,
Pathways to success,
In the companionship of,
Family and friends...
Such was middle school,
The depression free zone.
Everyone so full of energy, hope and not alone.
But Gone are those days,
Amazed i am left.
Looking back I realised,
Running through the meadows to reach everywhere on time;
No pending work, not an extra baggage.
Life used to be so light, smooth and
Mistakes were easily forgiven.
Now my shoulders are heavy,
Weary of worry
Afraid of making mistakes,
Meager are my smiles;
And somehow in between I realised,
I cannot find myself.
The girl i used to know, cherish and love
Seems to fade away,
Day by day.
