The Gag Speaks
When we want the defendant to be quiet the court orders a gag.
It means their free speech has suffered a snag!
Seems the judge wants to put a limit on the number of tries
That the accused can cloud the jury’s eyes.
The actual facts are the only things to be considered.
The defendant can’t use undue influence on how they’re configured.
After finding the truth is the ultimate goal.
It may become necessary because of how you roll.
