Tea Party From My Heart
#FallenSoldiers
#WritcoPoemPrompt28

She floats like a dream,
Before she sinks under,
Carrying in her folds,
The dying cries of the soldiers...

The flags? Nothing but ashes!
No one sees their shapes in passes....
They're all in plain stained shirts,
who were they fighting for?
Who is who!?
What nation was this one and that one for?!

"Rowing, rowing, just keep rowing!",
up the water they just kept going.

Strange they all looked dead... Is this a vision that shares the flashes of life that passes ...with the last thoughts in their heads?

Louder did they get!
"Meant it not for what was for us!
Mean it so for all worth loving!
Mean it even for the enemies!
The ones certain to have the same in common-
It's our honor to die for all loved!
So there's dread having stabbed or shot 'em down... but who...
Who to love more?!
Unnatural as it is to kill....
Unnatural as it is to fail...
to protect the love we have!
Let the Great Mystery unravel the puzzles and weave peace in the correct order!
I leave you with nothing but what love and peace I held the line from...
I could only buy you time to love more, and more time to love, having been thankful for...

Dear Family, This suit and feather."

So the drums shot bolts through the water to the sky! A teacup shattered as I woke at the table mid-day!

Their faces lost their color...
I looked them in their eyes,
"My hands didn't want to unfold,
still the Earth kissed good-bye."
