Feeling
The lamp turned to place my eyes,
I no longer wait for cheese or peas.
Bloodshed is what I hate to see
Screaming is echoing like a bee.
I remember all tales heard from old books,
Watching my grandmother's sad look.
I'm roaming in a painful sea,
Searching whether there is a ashore to see.
I feel hatred and anger,
My nation is filled with hunger.
The man turned into nothing when he used to be something.
Bleeding inside but who cares,
Roaring outside feels like a fist,
Craving for a drop of water,
But still fights for what matters.
I hear screams in all corners
But none deserves to be honored.
I wonder what took over the person to make a total change in a season.
I listen by heart not ears
It doesn't matter how many years I lived,
I read by mind, not by eyes
I hold my greed so that I don't break ties.
