Things that get in your way,
As if there's a hidden door blocking your path,
And find the worst, by error as it stray!
A problem to be solved, probably simple math.
As easy as it sound,
The gate way through life, there is always a doubt,
When it's yellow, red or green light.
You just wouldn't be sure to make up your mind,
My vision is clear enough to see the road ahead of me,
My career, my dreams, hopes and ambitions,
But then there is always that one doubt,
At the back of my mind to take another route,
When you take a step forward, soon enough two steps backwards,
The battle of the mind they say,
Underestimate every single move you make,
Whether its for a good cost or bad there is always a price to pay,
And it makes every choices delay,
The mind game is always in the way,
Like I can't be a bird because I don't have wings to fly,
And I can't be a star because it's impossible to be up in the sky,
And when I dream at night, they'll say it's just a dream,
But dreams can be hopeful to what you want to be,
I dreamed to have a happy fulfilling life,
Then again the mind game of sorrows and a broken life,
Then I came to realized that I am responsible for my life,
What the mind says are just clues of the scene behind,
It's annoying and disturbing to get rid of it,
They will always be in the way judging us before we even made it,
It's far from numbers to be solved in simple math,
It's nature and it'll exsit for the remaining of time,
I learn to blocked them out completely when the time is right,
It took awhile thought but it turned out alright,
They encounter to hold us in places that we do not want to be,
Because they fear of how far we will be,
They delay our every move to succeed,
Living us with regrets of agree to disagree,
The most deadliest weapon to failure is the battle of the minds,
It's on you to mute them aside when opportunity comes flying,
Put on a good fight, I will make it, I will succeed,
I will achieve, I will win and I believe in me,
My biggest fear is the battle of my mind,
Belittling and doubting my way, my goals and dreams in life,
Thinking of all the negatively and what others will think,
Drowning in doubt of the "what if", the boat will sink,
It won't when you are the compass to show the route and direction,
Just like in life you when in a shade you will see your reflection,
And don't let anybody or anything get in your way,
Be brave and let the way.
