Frigid Tree
If the ice melts
A warmer song would have come out
But why is the ice so cold?
Why is it so cold?” Melted by Akmu (English Translation)

Inside my chest
Is the pillar of my emotions
Open my rib cage
And you'll only glimpse at the pile of snow
Frozen at the coldness of the societies shadow
And although I threaded words to my youth
That I shall never soak myself upon the glacier of the world's unending cycle.
The moment I've reached two decades of restless seasons,
my system still embraces the winter.

I'm a hypocrite that hated the stillness of the ocean
Cause I drowned in it
When I just only filled two pages from my once tabula rasa
Almost fading the ink because of dankness
that was about to relinquish my existence
Yet I remember it's only me shedding tears
Because I stumbled upon the rigor
of the adults trunks,
wideness at the wilderness,
And there I saw the hearth they halt to use
not even a speck of ashes,
Because they found the allure of winter
convenient.

On their crowns
A hearts made of flakes
Ornamenting itself to be broken.

The shallowness of life sent chills at my core
I saw the freckles of white
Slowly devouring my skin
And I've been Ice bound.

The forest stood there
melancholic
Staggering
Pale

The same way the adults dance at the rock bottom

Lining at the edge of the cliff.
I become among them, undistinguished.

And I could only gaze at the chilling pasture of flameless eyes,
yet a small hint of hope in me
that maybe some youth might want to start a forest fire.
To atleast give us warmth that we extinguished
While we're blinded by the frigid way of life .
