Dear Beloved,

We’ve been looking upon ourself through some dirty ass lenses
Letting the impacts of life splatter across the glass
Then still trying to use them to feel and navigate through the trenches
Where have our senses been?
We’ve operated through life wearing suffocating masks of pretenses
Yet, still, God blesses
He’s blessed us through each little moment of our tantrums and our messes
He has poured liquid gold into every aspect of our existence
Despite our biggest regrets, sins, and confessions
Endowed us with angels dressed as humans to love on us— hold us through the lessons
Given us sunflowers in human form to address all our introspections as outer reflections
Reflections showing me I am worthy of drinking up endless love
The same type of love I endlessly pour out of my heart’s stuck open spout
I am learning to allow this love to embrace me, soften me, and dissolve any and all doubts
I am learning to receive it from others, from Him, and from myself
I am learning that I am in my POWER when I love myself and that includes the allowance of letting others’ love rays reach me too
