MY SEARCH FOR SELFLOVE ❤️
This i just realized,
Long time waited, just to emphasize,
On the truth, and search of my self love,
Which I abscond and abandoned.
Pleasing, appealing,
Was all I ever did,
Fighting, dreaming,
This I just hid.
My dad would say,
A doctor you'll be,
My mom, a pharmacist you may,
But as the tears rolled down my cheeks, this just wasn't me.
But a chance I hardly had,
Their bid, I just had to abide,
Countless of times, I cried,
But no one I could tell, even if I tried.
Two years now gone,
In search I went, of my self love,
Still searching, but now I see,
All I ever needed, is the love from me.
So I say no, to being sidelined,
It's time to see, and stop being blind,
Cause what is important, is myself,
And no more, to being put on the shelf.
