opening up with dampened dew
collecting alms in tokens
of warm aureole salutations
a sunset with long arms
unfurled like moth wings
soothing words in bondage
tangerine-pinked blushes
dialogues ending with sigh
the aureate moments in between
slivered pixels and pocketed
half memories embedded in sepia—
photographs with reservations
for one's heart storage compartment
the night in velvet black
glittered in telling tells
of cosmic undertones
hushing worries gently
with the moon's bidding
the peaceful view of the ocean
marooned in the middle of its
quiet sails and sojourned path
turquoise-blue pelagic haven
hammocked gently in waves
the way the rainy city quiets
after a tiring long day;
and a shutter clicks in my mind
