The Young Dreamer
They laughed when she did not fit in,
But she refused to let them win
Since when did it become a sin
To hold your head up high?
They watched, although she didn't mind
If they watched, they would find
A girl who left the world behind
And reached up to touch the sky
They mocked because they hadn't met
The girl who put in blood and sweat
Her dreams were nothing as of yet
But she would always try
