Autumn leaves looking to deceive,
With brightly shown colors while falling from trees.

A time to escape.
A time for treAts.
While ghosts are held back by campfires light.
Jack o lanterns grin forming a bright sphere in the night.

Scarecrows take on a more sinister air.
Old abandoned houses are Haunted. Beware!
Kids on the street checking each door.
For the snacks and treats that are waiting in store.

Spirits roam.
Goblins plot.
Legends still passed from time forgot.
Fatuous pranks.
While altruistic in nature,
Earning the brains behind it,
Notoriety and stature.

Halloween. Samhain. All Hallow's Eve.
Changes.
Adapts.
Yet people believe.
