In Want (Ghazal)
Dear Reader
My Attempt at composing a Poem,
utilising the Ghazal format. I pray,
I have done justice to it.
I feel the tornado of emotions rising
As I gaze into your eyes for any want
The hours thread by with your presence
We long to ignite but, are a sorry want
Give me a chance to say my heartful piece
It's what is appropriate, what many want
Feel the embrace of my restlessness
That's all I seek and from you really want
You walk away turning back, not once
For you it's over but, I will remain selflessly want
