The Divine Concept Of Soulmates
The idea of soulmates
has always fascinated me.
Just the thought of
believing that someone
is living somewhere,
waiting for their soul
to intertwine with yours,
deeply intrigues me.

The concept of
anticipating a heavenly reunion
with your beloved,
in the extended journey
of several births and lifetimes,
with respect to
the simple truth,
of a single soul
being destined to be yours
holds so much beauty.

Just to think
that you could potentially
have someone, who is fated to be
a part of you
and the urge to smile
as though they could be
thinking of you at this very moment,
just as you do,
fills my heart with such contentment.

To find a soulmate
means to meet yourself
through someone else.
What a dream to be
miles away from someone physically,
but never really feel it,
because it's the soul,
that is connected.

What a fortune
to share your tears and giggles,
with one person,
To laugh, and have someone feel it too.
To cry, and have someone feel it too.

To feel their presence, voice and touch,
To never feel deprived of their embrace.
To remain in the shadow of them as angels
who never leave your side and keep you safe.

To know that the universe has your back,
To know that the stars align for you.
To know that destiny is by your side.
To know that the almighty adores it too.

To be gifted life,
only to cross paths with whom,
your heart receives a reason to breathe,
and complete what several lifetimes couldn't.

To finally unite and complete the story,
that lay unfinished for centuries.
To be made for the only one,
and patiently wait for a reunion.

To be entirely oblivious
of who it may be,
yet live with some part of you being aware,
of who it admires wholeheartedly.

To listen to the same song,
or complete lyrics for each other,
To think of the same thing,
and lie awake with the thoughts of each other.

To be doing all this,
even before you meet.
To be living in the name of someone,
and realize for whom your heart beats.

To carry the name of your other half,
in your heart, spirit and veins.
To love someone so spiritually,
with no wish for any change.
