Love, work, and earth
#WritcoPoemPrompt25
She toils through the day,
Without a word or a nay,
She earns her daily bread,
Not a tear does she shed.
One day after another,
Reaps the fruit of work,
In hard and painful journeys
Collecting dream shadows
Longing for sweet sweets
On exoteric night journeys
Savoring staged emotions
Looking for flavors of the future
Dear fervor of life
Why do you refuse me
I've always been voracious
Exalt my incomplete existence
Because stripped fields
Without stones and valkyries
Naked mountains
Without snow and raw meat
Are indistinct from urban cellars
And I want infested forests
Of life, color, size and smell
Of death and love
Of affection, motion and change.
