After a day that's been long and draining,
I try to find ways to unwindand refrain,
From the stresses and strains that weigh me down,
And find solace in activities that lift my frown.

Yes, the day has been long and tiring, my mind & body weary,
But as the sun sets and the night draws near, I know just
what to do,
I seek out my sanctuary, where I can let my worries flee,
And find solace in the things that bring me joy, and set my
spirit free.

I slip into a warm bath, let the water enfold me tight,
And let my muscles relax, let my worries take flight.
I close my eyes, let my mind wander, let my heart be free,
And let the stillness of the night bring me serenity.

Oh, the toils of the day, they do fade away,
As I find my solace, in the
night's embrace,
With the rhythm of words, that dance in my brain,
I unwind, and let my
spirit regain.

The weight of the world, it does momentarily cease,
As I delve into realms, of
pure delight,
With pen and paper, I take flight,
And let my imagination, soar with glee.

I take up my pen and paper, and let my thoughts flow free,
The words tumbling out in a rush, as my mind begins to see,
The beauty of the world around me, and the magic that it holds,
And the weight of my cares and troubles, begins to unfold.

I write to release my thoughts and feelings,
The pen and paper my trusty revealings,
As words flow forth, my mind starts to clear,
And the weight of the day begins to disappear.

The written words, it calms
my soul,
As I weave tales, of joy
and control,
The pressure of the day, it
does release,
As I lose myself, in a world
of ease.

I read to escape and lose myself in pages,
Lose track of time and find my own stages,
In the worlds of fiction, adventure, and dreams,
My mind soars high, and my heart beams.

I read documentaries of far-off lands & adventures, of love and laughter too,
And let my imagination soar, as my heart sings anew,
I draw and dream and let my mind wander, losing all my fears,
And with each passing moment, my heart and soul find peace
and cheer.

I draw to express my creativity,
To bring forth images of serenity,
With lines and curves, I create a peaceful scene,
A haven of calm, a world unseen.

I listen to music that soothes
my soul,
The rhythms and melodies, my heart's goal,
The beats and chords, a symphony of sound,
That lifts me up and calms me down.

The sweet melodies, they soothe my heart,
As I listen to music, a work
of art,
The rhythm and harmony, they calm my soul,
And guide me to a place, where I am whole.

The music fills my soul with melody, and lifts my spirits high,
I dance and sway and let the rhythm take me where it will,
And as I listen to the laughter of comedians, my heart is
filled with glee,
And I laugh and laugh until my sides ache, and my heart is free.

The sound of laughter, it echoes through my mind,
As I watch stand-up comedy,
so divine,
The jester's words, they make
me smile,
And chase away, the day's vile,

I watch stand-up comedy on YouTube,
Laughter and humor, my
heart's elixir,
The jokes and punchlines, a much-needed break,
From the seriousness of life, a hearty shake.

I, laugh without seeing the time and smile,
And let the humor light my mile,
I answer prompts, and let my mind wander,
And find solace in the calm after.

The questions you ask, they make me think,
As I ponder on life's grand link,
The inky answers I find, they bring me peace,
And help me to release, the
day's cease.

So here I stay, in this place
of bliss,
Where the world outside, is
just a mist,
I savor the present moment, & let go of the past,
Furthermore embrace the present, with a smile at last.

I take a deep breath, let go of the stress and the pain,
And let my heart and soul find solace in the peaceful refrain.
I light a soothing calming aromatic candle, soft & warm, to chase away the night,
And let it's gentle glow guide me to a tranquil delight.

And, as the day comes to a close,
I retire to bed with a dreamy, big, positive smile,
My heart all content, my
mind at ease,
Ready to face another challenging day with ease.

Then, I retire to my cozy bed,
With smile dreams in my eye,
And let my weary body rest,
And my soul takes flight.

So that's how I spend my me time, in this way, every day,
With writing, reading, drawing, watching & music, all in play,
And as I drift off to sleep, with a dreamy big positive smile,
I know that I am ready, to face another day, & all its trials.

As the day's demands fade away,
And the night's peaceful hue draws nigh,
I find my mind and body sway
To the calming scent of candlelight.

The soft glow of aromatic flames
Illuminates my weary frame,
As I breathe in the soothing scent
And let my worries drift away.

The gentle flicker of the candles
Eases my tense and troubled mind,
And as I bask in their warm embrace,
I find my spirit soaring high.

The scented aroma lifts my mood
And brings a sense of peacefulness,
As I let go of the day's fatigue
And embrace the calmness of the night.

In this tranquil moment, I find
A brighter side to life's demands,
And as I drift off to dreamland,
I know I'll face the dawn with ease.

The world outside may be loud and wild,
But in this moment, all is calm and mild.
I let go of the day's burdens, let my spirit soar,
And find the peace that I need, before I close the door.

So I let the candles light my way,
As I unwind and let go of the day,
And let the scented aroma guide me
To a peaceful and dreamy night.

Whatever it is, it's me time,
you see,
A time to recharge and set
myself free.
So I close my eyes and let go of the day,
And drift off to sleep with a smile on my face.

Thus here in my bed I stay, in this quiet place,
And let the stillness of the night embrace my face.
I let my heart & soul find rest,
And let the night's gentle caress be my cozy nest.
