My hands seek hard
My eyes look but helpless
I lost my portion
In the savagery of my time

Many I left behind
Decisions made with haste
Never learnt from life
And surrendered to demands

I am happy but remorseful
My smile bore sadness
My laughter inherent with a cry
What have I done?

All I seek to attain
Takes a picture from the past
I can't give a look
Not even a glance

Man isn't beyond mistake
I am but guilty of culpable decisions
Time clench it's fist
A sight alone casts me a blow.
