what have I become in my forever past
what have I become in the footprints I leave
a disaster that rolls on ice, a beast I am
a tornado that takes all that's worth and turns it to nothing

but 365 times, sometimes 366 times and now I have an answer
after about 365 times I can now restart all that I did wrong
I don't see it as a chance to forget what I used to be
but as a chance to grow from what I am now
and I try to find peace in a new length of time during a festive time called the new year
