Pray, elucidate the mystery
that has befallen me!
when i do shut mine eyes,
within those closed orbs,
'tis solely thou that dost make ingress,
upon unveiling mine eyes
to the obsidian firmament,
within those somber clouds,
thou doth manifest akin to
a resplendent star.
seated by the brim of the sea,
i present to thee that boundless expanse, and thou commence
thy approach, borne upon those undulant crests,
disclose, henceforth,
the destination to which
i should traverse sans thy companionship; for whither soever
i journey, thou alone dost grace
mine sight.
is this, perchance, love?
