My Incarceration
Unfair and Unjust,
Accused and Convicted,
Makes me feel afflicted,
For being tricked and evicted,
When mother's you trust betray your trust,
Trust turned to dust as life flashes before your eyes,
Eyes turn to tears, as I am incarcerated,
Crimes I did not commit, judged for my father's past,
Past supposed to last, as days passed, mass attempts of incarceration, insanity and prayers for release.
Incarceration like concentration be like obliteration, minds blown as a good man get incarcerated, never being able to be free again,
makes life hopeful, free, alive but still incarcerated,
as the community judges us, for what did not occur, for self infliction, manipulation,
where does it end, death, life, obliteration?
I sit here as the years go by,
struggling to get by,
wondering if I shall survive,
die,
wait,
alive,
not free,
still incarcerated as a free man, hoping to move forward till the day arrives,
I sit in my home as the prison cells close.

With all that was said, my life moves on, in hope, forgiveness and wonder if I can be reborn anew, if God permits it, here I pray, hoping it so...
