Too many roadworks litter our streets
Temporary traffic lights we all try to beat
Men standing around staring in holes
When will they fill them, nobody knows
Potholes so big that when it rains there's a lake
I've seen people fish them for real, goodness sake
Government funding at an all time low
but not filling holes in makes you drive slow
Gridlocks aplenty with more every day
It's quicker to walk than to sit there and pray
Pray for a miracle to move on real soon
But you're really more likely to see a cow jump the moon.
