When I was A Child
I walked through the trees
The muddy floors in contact with my feet
Splashing like there is no tomorrow, with a carefree and too innocent to know
I had to row, I had go work to get to my place in life
I grew up thinking things would be easy because that is what Mommy and daddy told me
But for me I am making a difference
I rise
I work hard, I demand what I want
I become the boss
Because when I was a child I was too young to comperhend
Now that I am older I see the impossible is possible
I can reach the possible
The muddy floors in contact with my feet
Splashing like there is no tomorrow, with a carefree and too innocent to know
I had to row, I had go work to get to my place in life
I grew up thinking things would be easy because that is what Mommy and daddy told me
But for me I am making a difference
I rise
I work hard, I demand what I want
I become the boss
Because when I was a child I was too young to comperhend
Now that I am older I see the impossible is possible
I can reach the possible
