Forever To Shine
Today
looks as though
the sky will break its bough
heavy its heart
as though to cry, never to stop
its heartbreak
lingers in the air so desperately
to fall in time to come
ascending to earth
to crash and shower all below
blow the tops off mountains
whetting their very souls
yet amongst its jaded sky
a slight glimmer of hope
there up high, resting
sunray's breaking through
whatever you do don't give up
hold on to hope
glory in its appearance
when it stands before you at will
have hope
it never leaves you
if it does
hope it returns
and never to be too far away
its rays of sun forever to shine
