Unseen Chain

I had a vivid dream, that I am shackled by an unseen chain,
Hard to explain...
But that what makes me doubt about my skills,
It was obvious that I could, at anytime, break away from the thrills.
And from the chain I were tied to,
For some reason though, I chose not to.
Because I have been taught that I can't break free from the so-called luxuries,
Luxuries I believed I were enjoying, and forever stuck right where I were.
