No one contemplates the paradoxical sight;
when black meets white;
It was a serendipitous encounter while playing chess,
Although a battle of wits, it was fair nontheless.

But a question did cross my mind,
Assuming that opposites attract;
On what morals do black and white combat?

White could be salvation,
Black could be damnation,
But there was a time when white oppressed and black was suppressed.

Amusingly, no one shares more similarity than opposites,
Both equally essential; a jigsaw puzzle that fits,
We cannot live in the dark,
But we cannot sleep in the light.

Thus, Life is black and white,
From the crack of dawn to the start of night,
The colours are a lovely illusion,
the secret of happiness, a healthy fusion;
So, mix black and white and add your colours to the moments that matter,
For dull perfection is nothing compared to a beautiful disaster.
