When I was a young girl,
I used to be scared of the dark.
It felt like a big question, Mark, right in front of me.
I didn't know how to handle it.
I tried to find answers by running towards the edge of the earth,
I am hoping to solve this mystery.
But the darkness kept creeping up on me,
I needed a light to guide me through the night,
To Show me the way and make everything alright.
I searched high and low,
For a glimmer of hope.
Something to hold onto,
When I couldn't cope.
With fear and doubt,That consumed my mind,
I needed a way out.
A way to leave it all behind.
Then one day I found a spark—a tiny flame,
That lit up the dark.
It showed me the way,
And gave me hope.
And now I know I'll never be alone.
