BURIED DREAM

"Buried Dream"

Yesterday, i stood on hill of life
And i saw numbers of people
Some are of old & feeble
While some are of young & vibrate

Then my sight drove through a distance & windup at lives
And i saw stars who could shine more brighter than Duncan Phyfe
Dwelling in sixes & sevens in a city of despair
With each new dawn draw them close to grave with potentials they never discover

But why do they close the book when bad things happen in their lives?
Instead to turn the page & begin a new chapter
Why are they still hiding behind shadows?
Haven't they heard?, that every door is made a window

I wept a river for these young minds
Who had left the godly path & trade hope to hard drugs
Beautiful maidens giving in exchange for gold their pride
Haven't they heard?, a virus is in town, is not friendly

Then, over the hills lied dreams in the cold hand of death out of depression
When is still morning to bring that story to conclusion
Haven't they heard?, life is beautiful with hidden fortunes to hope for
Why die in despair?, when there was more to live for

They couldn't have developed a cold feet, they ought to be brave
They should have live beyond vile, cuz they were almost there
All they need was just a step ahead
To become that light to their world & beyond.
