I notice you grin,
when a smart joke is cracked.
No one else gets it,
you’re the only one to react.

I notice you frown,
at an imperfect score.
You’re not yet defeated,
but it’s hard to ignore.

I notice you hold your tongue,
when someone says something wrong.
You won’t make them feel stupid,
so you move right along.

I notice what you’ll do,
before it is done.
I guess your reaction like a game,
and I find it fun.

I notice that you notice me as well.
It’s like an unspoken connection, though we haven’t quite fell.
Maybe we’ll talk at some point in our lives,
though we may never have to, so why even try?
