Trauma
In the realm where shadows lay,
A tale of trauma tries to sway.
A tempest, a whirlwind, a stormy sea,
A heart once full, now an absentee.

A tapestry torn, a melody mute,
A tree once strong, now without fruit.
Ghosts of the past, in daylight they play,
In dreams, they dance, never to fade away.

Yet, in the heartache, a spark does remain,
A glimmer of hope amidst the rain.
A flicker in darkness, an ember in the night,
A whispering wind carrying light.

In the canvas of chaos, colors blend,
A masterpiece of healing starts to mend.
A phoenix rises from the ashes, a new day to see,
A testament to resilience, to the strength to be.

For trauma may shape us, it's true,
But it does not define, it does not subdue.
In the crucible of pain, a diamond is born,
From a soul once shattered, a spirit reborn.
