The Platonic Love
In a world where objects come alive,
Where the stillness of life does strive,
Two inanimate beings engaged in conversation,
A tale of friendship and admiration.

A chair and a table, so different yet the same,
Their bond strong, their hearts aflame,
As the chair spoke of the burdens it bore,
The table listened, understanding more.

"Ah, my dear friend, the weight I carry,
Of weary souls who rest, oh so wary,
But you, my dear table, offer support,
A place for meals, a place to exhort."

The table chuckled, its wood shining bright,
"Indeed, my friend, together we make it right,
For without you, I am just a slab of wood,
But with you, I stand tall and good."

Their conversation continued, filled with grace,
A friendship timeless, in this magical space,
Their words echoed in the empty room,
A testament to their unique bond of bloom.

For in the world of inanimate things,
Emotions run deep, like crystal springs,
And the chair and table, forever intertwined,
A picture of love, in the stillness they find.
