The Truth is We're not Easy To Love
The truth doth speak, in words most clear
Our hearts a labyrinth, of doubts and fear
Emotions that ebb, like the tide in the sea
Insensitive at times, not knowing what we do, alas, 'tis true
But sensitivity too, doth lurk within
Feeling the world, with heart and skin
Flaws and tangles, a mind in a maze
Yet still, some stay, for whom our souls doth raise
Though difficult to love, they see past our plight
And choose to stay with us, through the darkest night
Their love, a light, that guides us through
Like Rumi's words, they see our true hue
So let us be grateful, for the love that they bring
For it is they, who make our hearts sing.
