Smiles light up in the night, by candles in hollowed gourds.
Electric lights, causing fall colored fields glowing in the darkness.
Paling in comparison to the rays given off by the full moon.
The rustle of a cool breeze blowing leaves gently back and forth until their stems release and they fall to the earth below.
The thick green of branches that used to shade the sun's rays,
Now, the same harvest colors as they quietly blow away.
The rustling of bags and the sound of tapping feet.
Going from door to door to find sweets, they can eat.

Are hearts full of excitement as they run and giggle happily.
Graveyards take on a more sinister belief.
Fear that ghosts and ghouls will slip through the breach.
Some perform rituals, hoping that loved ones will come through.
And the thinning of the veil will permit the words they beseech.
The practices and beliefs of All Hallow's Eve.
A day of all saints and of those that are deceased.
Growls and snarls are heard from both witches and beasts.
Gather Up the spoils of their tricks and their treats.
