They say
when you grow up in a burning house
you think that the whole whole world is on fire
but I didn’t grow up in a burning house
I grew up in a house where we hid the flames
deep in our hearts
I grew up in a house where we secretly burned alone, in silence
and we never spoke of it
cause every one of us pretended to be the strongest
wearing an armour of silver like a badge of honor
but our chests were on fire
the flames were blazing so intensely and burning so fiercely
the armour melted
our hearts turned to ashes
and still everyone of us pretended to be "fine"
and for so long i really thought
that I was the only one who was deteriorating from the inside
now, I put my flames on paper
because I want you to know
that there are others who’s fire is kept inside
like a mad volcano
deprived from exploding.
