my safety zone
a place I call home
I’ll make no mistakes
here, no need to be fake
alone I’d rather be
my blunders no one will see
away from society
I can feel and be me
keeping away from opportunity
hiding alongside my insecurity
in order not to bother another
to stay kind in the eyes of others
it’s my chance to stop impulse
it protects me from falls
to shame it puts an end
that I’m ok, I won’t need to pretend
this is where I relax
I’m trapped but secure to the max
and so, I isolate
