Palabras Guardads - Hidden Words
Original Poem in Spanish, as i was given the honor to relate this to you in English, i come to you thankful fellow writer for we are limited to our imagination. Hope you enjoy.

If i could tell tell you.
That my soul aches and i feel empty,
That the burden heavy rocks  sleep restless in my pocket waiting to hit bottom of deep blue rivers.
That my own voice confuses me and my reflection deceits me.

That I’m frightened of blood and the future so tough.
Strong in light, naked and ashamed I feel at night. Skipping stones on desperate lakes.

That life is hard and even though I try.

Trapped life in a knot , bearing the force of life pulling me from side to side.

If you knew the sun I represent, cries at night, reproached with tears of imperfection .

That death haunts my mind and claims I am hers.

10 years fighting to hide you, bones for the dog, in life living dead, life of the streets, honest hound I reflect.

That I killed myself without leaving a trace. Surely I was dead just no blood ahead. No bullets, no blades. Breathing while dead.

That seeking for death killed my will to live. Entering barefoot in a reality where nails are normality.

If you knew that when that happened I was just an innocent boy, anxiety was none, no fear to be gone, the beautiful darkness where death wait with patience.

She asked for my eyes, she said ; they will be mine.  Coward my child, I want now your blood forever to come. She asked for my life with red ink I signed. She said my child, get on your knees. As she stooped by, a gentle breeze, a naked kiss those frozen lips. I felt her tongue, I taste her vibe.  Her spit and mine were mixed divines.

I soon awake, in life again. There’s one big difference, the me I knew is nowhere near. The me I remember kneeled down into danger and death he was made of. This me that moves now is wicked and allowed. This me that breaths now spits fire and growls.

If I could tell you the steps I have taken. Soldier boots, wonderer beard. If the eyes of the worthy read all of our journey I’m sure they’ll be amazed.
