In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone
Not knowing my way; lost and alone
My feelings holding deep inside
Cannot show the world my pain
The walls are built high and thick
Hard to let down my guard
My mind wonders ; my thoughts untame
I have to begin again
Where do I go, What do I do,
How do I start from scratch?
I have to be strong and hold on
Maybe that was not my path
I struggle to let go knowing my feelings might show
Take a step , breathe one breath then two
Each step will soon grow ; One moment
One day One month One year
Slowly it gets easier ,time fades; life goes on
But will always remember the moment it began.
Life is hard , full of changes, it is all in what each of us decide to do with the change.
