FOR WHAT REASON
For what reason will I say
With what mouth shall I tell
Never to worship you again
For you have bestowed on me
So much mercy in life
The earth consumes every day
Yet I remain but different
The heavens welcome souls
Mine still within me
Which of your grace shall I deny?
Failure sometimes is success
Success sometimes failure
You, omniscient
Knowing for man which suits him
Either success or failure
For what reason will I say
Never to praise you again
After your power, mighty
Has made me stand, a man
Among which I am no better
Fate cannot be asked
Nor destiny be questioned
Time lies with you
Without a doubt of second
For you are the patient one.
