What Christmas Means To Me
I've been thinking about what Christmas really means
Even though my heart is sad
Years of celebrating with my family
Such wonderful times we had
But then I'm feeling that Christmas isn't about me
It's about a precious baby boy that was born
His parents a Carpenter and a Jewish girl
Traveled so far that they were tattered and worn
What does it mean to celebrate Christmas
To me it is unconditional love
A love that can conquer many things
A love that comes from the Lord above
It's hard to celebrate when we're grieving
It might be a daughter or son
That we've lost and our hearts are broken
But I think about that chosen One
Chosen to be the King of Kings
To bring us peace and tranquility
I stand strong on His promises
He promises my family in Heaven I'll see
This Christmas will be different for me
As I'll concentrate more then these last few years
Knowing my husband and son are in God's presence
This Christmas will bring me happy tears!
