I've been at rock bottom with no end in sight,
I've worn myself out putting up a fight.
I've kept my strength when times are dark,
I've stopped myself from being torn apart.
Ive felt the demons within my sleep,
Heard there words to try and make me weak.
My head was a battleground for them to play,
Knocking down my self-worth everyday.
But I put up a fight with every ounce of me,
Even if they got to me I didnt let them see.
They knew my pain, my deepest fears,
But I told myself fight them all, dont shred a tear.
I grew stronger as the days went by,
But the demons havnt left, their still inside.
They are there to teach me to remain strong,
No matter how hard the battle no matter how long.
I have my good days and I have my bad,
But I've survived TODAY and for that I am glad.
