In the quietest part of the night,
When you hover between dark and light,
Wondering if you can float away on dreams,
Hoping they won't turn into screams...
In the quietest part of the night,
When you grasp the pen and commence to write,
Sneaking thoughts in your room roving by all means,
Thinking how can you put them in straight themes...
In the quietest part of the night,
When you're gazing at drifts of stars shinny and bright,
Besides window sitting on a chair though nice it seems,
Deep in the heart you know your world gleams...
In the quietest part of the night,
When you're trying to sleep to go out of sight,
Seeing light from every house promptly beams,
Conceiving you always stumble through familiar scenes...
